Owi charge
I would like to know if I'm likely to receive a deferred charge or even have it dropped. I'm 35 years old with a clean record and clean driving record. This is my first offense. I ran my car into a small fence in someones yard. I left the scene and went home where I had more to drink. When the police came I went willingly and cooperated. When they asked if I had more to drink after I went home I said no. How will this affect my case if I tell the truth now that I did drink after I went home? I was also in the process of signing with the army. Does this fact help me? Thank you

Re: Owi charge
Chances are pretty good you can get a deferred judgment but on the facts it's not likely to get dropped. I think you should contact a good criminal defense attorney to make sure your case is presented in the best possible light. As far as the army goes you're going to have to disclose it to them.
