reciprocity laws

what states have mandatory reciprocity laws for drunk driving? If I convicted in Iowa and revoked, can I get a license in another state?

There are 5 states not party to the interstate driver's license compact. However, you might want to think this through. Let's say you obtain a license in another state. You'll have to lie to that state about your true residency. Then, if you get stopped in Iowa you'll have to explain why you're not a resident but you're driving with Iowa plates. Unless you change your name they'll find out that you're driving with your Iowa license under suspension. So you'll have that as well as all the problems associated with lying to police. In fact, you might well get charged with perjury in the state where you obtained the license.
