Legal Question in Education Law in Iowa
We have been filed foreclosure papers on us and we have to respone to this in 20 days. We are in the middle of talking to our morgage people now and they are getting us set up on another plan. But i need to know what do we need to know to tell the attorney that we are working with the mortgage so they don't go thru with this foreclosure on us?

You have 20 days to answer, and if you haven't, the court will enter a default judgment against you.
For my part I do not see how you can be negotiating with the lender when the lender is the one that's foreclosing on you. Something's really strange about this story.
