Legal Question in Education Law in Iowa
My son's school has refused my son a 504 and will only give him an IEP in math when he is failing other subjects. He has ADHD, anxiety disorder, poor organization. He is in the 7th grade and only testing at the 4th grade level. I want to know what happens if I pull him out of his school and take him to a school of my choice, not in our district?

That's between you and the school district you're taking him from and the one you're taking him to. You're going to need to get people on board and you haven't done that.
