Teacher's contracts
If I can prove a school district broke my contract what kind of compensation am I due?

You should have a union that can advocate for you on this matter. In most cases, you can recover lost wages, the costs of mitigating your losses by seeking a new job, the difference between your wages on the new versus the old job. You may also be reinstated to your old job, depending on circumstances. Many remedies are available; however, you need to talk to your union about these.
