Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I am 17 and from Iowa. My birthday is in July. I graduated a year early and just got my CNA. Currently my dad has custody of me but I live with my grandparents. I got offered a job in another town and would have to move in with a friend. I would like to know if I could legally move and be on my own since I'm not 18.

The answer is, you're in the custody of whomever has custody until you are 18. That person would have to agree to it.
