Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My daughter will be 16 in Aug. She wants to come live with me. What can I do or not do? Can I just keep her? Can I just keep her for my two week summer vist with out her mothers consent as long as I call her to let her know I am practiceing my rights in this matter?

You can hire an attorney and/or file a motion with the court to change or modify the existing custody and support order. Any action you take above and beyond that you're on your own.
