Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
Child Custody
my 3 daughters have lived with me in iowa their whole lives. their father, his girlfriend, son & her mother recently began renting a house in nebr. he started taking the girls every other weekend (for visitation). he only recently started paying child support, which was set temporarily by (I believe) the state. he wanted me to sign a paper a few days ago, that he could pay only $150/mo, instead of what was set. a few days later, i was served papers that he wants full custody w/supervised visitation (for me) & wants child support (from me). what do i need to do to keep custody of my daughters, and if i bring the girls over there 'now' (for visitation) can he keep them from me?

Re: Child Custody
You haven't told me whether there is a custody and support order in place and what it says. You also haven't told me whether and where your ex husband filed for custody and support. You also don't seem real clear on how your support is administered.
