Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Child Custody: should he meet me half way..

I have a child custody order already in place, but Since then I have moved out of the state. I kept my part of the agreement by making sure that he got his son every other weekend. I am now almost eight months pregnant and it is hard to drive back and forth each way. I think that his father should meet me at least half way. My boyfriend that we live together and takes care of us doesn't want me to drive that far by myself just in case I was to go in to labor early like I did with my first one. My son's father refuses communicate with me about it. He doesn't try to contact me or call me to set up a meeting time and place. I dont want to get in trouble but I cant drive the whole way any more. What should I do?

You haven't said what's in the custody agreement or whether you could petition the court for a modification. That would be your only recourse that I can see.
