Child Support

If the grandparents of my duaghter on her mothers side are awarded guardianship of my duaghter would I still be required to pay child support

Yes, you will most likely still have to pay child support, unless the court orders otherwise. Typically, unless a child is adopted or a parent's parental rights are terminated, the child support obligation continues. I assume by your inquiry that you are, indeed, the father of this child. . .who would you wish provided for the support and welfare of your child? Unless your rights are terminated by the Court, you are indeed obligated to provide financial support for a child whom you conceived.
