Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

child support

recently had my son move in with me and need to stop child support and start child support. I have a juvenile document stating that both parties agree to have my child live with me. is this document legal enough to where i can go ahead and pursue child support or can the father change his mind? and have the child come back to his home.

Juvenile court doesn't have control over custody and support issues to the extent that you wish. You must move to modify the existing custody and support order.
