Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Child Visitaion
Dec. 1 I had gone to court because my daughters father, after 5 years, came into her life and took me to get custody of her. The judge appointed it to him because I had moved out of state. My daughters father tokd the court that he would let me have her everyother weekend and I quote my words ''Whenever she wants''. I had to drop her off Friday the 5th by 6pm. I did. Now, since he told me I could have her every other weekend, this weekend, the 12th, would be my weekend. The 19th would be his weekend and then the 26th would be mine. I do not get her for Christmas this year becasue I had her last year and this year for Thanksgiving. I asked him if I could have her the 26th and he said yes only to tell me 2 days ago that he is taking her to Texas and that I am not allowed to get her until the 28th. Now the Indiana guidelines say that I am allotted 7 days during her winter break which would be Dec.28 thru Jan.4 but my question is, and I dont have any legal help at this point so I have no one to ask, since it is my weekend to get her on the 26th, am I allowed to tell him that I am allowed to have her on the 26th? Can I get her the 26th thru the 4th since its my weekend and 7 days of her winter break?

I think you should contact your attorney if you have questions about your custody and support agreement and how it is to be interpreted
