Custody Terms

A friend of mine recently separated from his wife of two years. He makes a substantially greater amount of money per month, is a great father, and wants to request joint custody. During their separation, however, his wife is not allowing him to see their 2 yr old daughter for more than 5 hrs a wk. Will this hurt his plea for joint custody or turn the case in his favor?

Not really. All it does is make mom look petty.
