Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I have a daughter for whom I have rec'd child support from her age 3 to the present, she is now 18 and a full time college student. My ex filed papers to discontinue support, however I have a letter dated May 2011 from the Child Supp Recovery Unit of IA stating that as long as she is full time in college, he is to continue to pay up to her age of 22yrs old.Has there been a change in the law since May '11? Also,I was just served these papers Sat Oct 22,2011 and they state I must attend a hearing on Oct 31,2011. I have no lawyer and need to know what I should do.

Go to your hearing and bring your documentation, including copies of any court orders, custody and support agreement, and so on. There should be an attorney representing the CSRU-I would contact them and make sure they're going to be in attendance.
