Defamation of character

An attorney for my ex-wife filed a contempt of court citation against me, claiming that I did not pay my child support for the month of December, 2006. That claim was filed on December 22 of that same month. The court records unambiguously show that the child support was paid via a wage withholding on a schedule consistent with other months. Is this grounds for a defamation of character suit against the attorney filing the charges?
