Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

divorce representation

I am going thru a inter-state divorce. My estrained wifes attorney is demanding I be in the state for the hearing but I do not have the funds or a vehicle to go to the state she is in. is there any case to show presidence that a phone conference can and has been done for a divorce hearing. Please help.

All you can do is file a motion asking the court to let you appear by telephone.
