Divorce settlement, inherited property
I am considering filing for divorce but have land that I have inherited that I'm afraid I might lose. I have been married for 12 years. Is there any law that would allow me to keep my inheritance seperate for our shared assets?

That would depend on when you inherited the property. Anything acquired during the marriage is property of the marital estate, but anything acquired before it is your own.
