Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

emancipation of child

I live in Iowa, my daughter lives in NE with her 4 mo. baby & baby's father. Her mother claims i'm still responsible for her medical bills & college tuition, which she has not finished. Since she resides elsewhere, shouldn't this be her responsibility?

It depends on what is contained in your custody and support decree. I'd move to have her support terminated.
