Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Emancipation

I want to move out of my mother's house, I have a job, but as far as I know Iowa has no emancipation laws. I'm only 16, but I'm sure I could support myself. How do I get emancipated? Who should I talk to?

You can't get there from here. You're effectively a ward of your parents until the age of 18. Don't worry about it.
