Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Why would my ex-husband of 27 years need a copy of the restraining order from our divorce degree? He emailed me asking me if I still had the original copy of the divorce and he only need the page about the restraining order. Our kids are now 29 and 32 and we've gotten along for several years. I do have temporary guardianship of my daughters oldest boy who is 9 y/o now and I've been primary care taker for him since birth. She chose druge over her son when she took the guardianship papers to the bank one Friday night and signed them and got them notorized. When her son was 4 years old when she was busted and arrested with 3 felony accounts dealing with Meth, pot, etc.. The Felony charges were dropped but she was forced to attend a drug rehab for which he got thrown out of and if she hadn't had a job she would have went back to jail. She was on probation for 2 years instead of one because of coming up dirty for Pot 3 times. Once her probation was over she quit her job. She has had yet another little boy and is living with a man right out of prison for dugs, domestic assult charges and hurting his own daughter by throwing her down a flight of stairs and for this reason with all the DHS and counselors my grandson has since he was diagnosed a Meth Baby I will not allow her to have him without me being there. I only told you this last part as I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with her trying to get her son back? I need to know where we are at and what we are going to be into if we have to hire an attorney to fight it. DHS says with her record of everything I have documented and her and her boyfriends legal files she wouldn't stand a chance and her son doesn't want to live with her and would love to see his brother and is angry cause she won't call him or visit him at all.

I need to know why my ex-husband would need a copy of a restraining order against him for which I had doctor verification of one beating and pictures from my attorney of a beating. Why would he want this after all these years. There has to be a reason???

I'm disabled and unable to pay for an answer and for that I am very sorry. I'm not sure how I will afford to fight to keep my grandson with me as he wants and I feel where he would be the proper care he needs.

That's not really a legal question. If he wants a copy of an old court order let him go to the courthouse like everyone else.
