Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I have a 17 year old student with a 2

year old child. She is dealing with an

alcoholic parent who is mentally and I

am not sure Physically abusive. What

are her legal rights as far as moving out

of her parents home.

Well, first of all you don't have a dog in this fight, and second of all the age of majority is 18 in this state.
