Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
The father of my child and i have a court order from 2007 about custody and child support. I have full physical custody of her and he is allowed to take her every other weekend even though he often doesn't. I want to move out of state with my daughter and for now he has agreed this is okay. What should i do to make sure i don't get in trouble later on if he changes his mind. I don't want to get her taken away or go to jail. Trying to make sure i cover all routes so he doesn't try pulling something. Thanks!

Get him to agree to a modification of the custody and support order. That's the only way I know of that would be reasonably trouble free.
