Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Father has custody of children - age 17 & 15. 15 is a female. Child & mother has declared that she will spend one week with mother, one week with father. Decree states children will be with mother on Thursdays & ever other week-end, holidays divided. Mother is to pay child support. Basic of decree. Daughter is refusing to come home after mother has picked her up at dads house. What can dad due to get her back home?? - Daughter thinks that because she is 14 SHE can decide where she will go???

Mom doesn't get to modify the custody and support order at her whim. A 14 year old kid doesn't get to rewrite the court's order either. Call your attorney and goet something on file.
