Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
The father of my daughter and I have shared custody. I have a restraining order against him and cannot communicate with him like i feel i need too since he has her half the time. He is also ordered by the court to pay child support, which he does NOT pay. I want primary care giver. Do i have a chance if i take him back to court?

Maybe. If he isn't paying his support that's a mark against him, but if that's all you've got it may not be enough, particularly because the source of heartburn is between you and him. It'd sound like you want to punish him for things that are not related to the shared custody issue.
