My husband divorced four years ago. His X wife had without his knowlege accumulated large debits, she was ordered by the court at time of divorce to pay for half. She has not done so. He can't afford to return to court. What can he do?

He's jointly liable and he can be sued on the debt. Court orders that purport to allot debts as between married couples as part of a divorce agreement are not worth the paper they're printed on.
