Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
my friend is fostering 3 children to adopt.after several mishaps the biological parents are giving up their rights to the chldren. At the 11th hour a relative said he wants the oldest two. They have never met him. My question is can andshould the foster to adopt parents get a lawyer now that the relative stepped in. They don't have money to spendon a lawyer if it won't help. Thank you for your help

They need to hire an attorney well versed in adoptions. This is far too complex to be addressed on a chat board.
