Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Granting of divorce

A friend of mine's husband recently told her he wanted to file for divorce, she doesn't want to give it to him, he told her that in Iowa only one signature from the parties was needed in order to get the divorce granted. Is this true? Thanks for your time!
