Guardianship & Conservorship

how do you go at pursueing guardianship & conservorship? my 25 year old son is autistic/mr and i'm on a fixed income, ssi and social security disability. i don't want him in a home because they will mistreat him. he's working on getting a job at handicap development center and on a waiting list.

You need to file a petition in the appropriate court. I would suggest you hire an attorney or contact legal aid to see what they can do for you.
