Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Can my husband adopt my 18 year old daughter without her biological father signing? Also, can I absolve his Child Support Arrears if he agrees to sign adoption papers for both children?

1. She's an adult. She can do anything she wants to and he's out of the picture.

2. That's a little too much like arm twisting to me. Maybe your lawyer can negotiate it but I wouldn't suggest you try it on your own.
