Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My husband was served with contempt of court papers for failure to pay child support. However, we have been in contact with the recovery unit for several months to try to lower the payment and have made the last 2 months worth of payments and the arrears payment. The court is asking for a security bond. If we don't have the money for a security bond, what will happen?
