Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My ex husband's new wife is very controlling and doesn't allow me to talk to my ex about our kids in ANYTHING. She says he refuses to talk to me. If I call/text him she answers. Is there any recourse for this? She is HORRIBLE to my kids (not an exaggeration) and 1 of my 3 kids has not seen him in 3 yrs. Now my 10 year old doesn't want to go. If I seek sole custody will he still have to provide support? I think the wife is hoping I do so they can get out of support.

/that sounds like a relational problem and not a legal one. If he loses custody he will still be liable for support.
