iowa child support

I get paid once a month and it is $2600.00 dollars I have two childern by two different mothers.How much can be legally taken out of your pay check each month for child support? Is the a max percent by law?? like 25%or 30%. Can they a prescribition cost to child support. Please answer all questions Ineed help. Thank you rick

You can figure it out for yourself. The uniform child support guidelines are set out in the Iowa Rules of Court and they are available through the legislature's website. They use a formula that is based on your net income and the net incomes of the custodial parents. Look in chapter 9.

The amount deducted for two children can be substantial, and arrearages are on top of that.
