Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

No job and child support

My soon to be ex husband refuses to get a job because he does not want to pay child support. He claims if he does not get a job he will only have to pay $125/month for all 4 of our kids. His girlfriend is willing to pay this for him so he can continue to stay at home with her. Is he telling the truth?

also he does her independant contractor job under her name to supplement their income without being nailed for child support. Is there a way to prove he does so and would we be eligible for actual support on it?

Do you have a support and custody decree in place? Because if you don't he doesn't have to do anything.
