Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Are their legal forms online that are valid for a grandmother to attain legal guardianship of a grandchild? Father is a deadbeat dad who does not want child nor pays support. Mother (my daughter) is facing legal situation which may or may not incarcerate her. I have supported and claimed as dependent her entire six years of life. I am not wealthy and would like to obtain the necessary forms if possible on line.

Doubtful but the state supreme court has some forms. Check their website. I suggest that you not try this without an attoney.
