Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

what are my legal rights?

I am getting married in Feb to a man who is divorced and has wrongfully been paying back child support. I have 3 kids and want to know what his ex wife can do to my income once we're married. Is it true that as long as we dont have anything mutually in each others name- that Nebraska can only collect with his income. What are my legal rights as a spouse/ His checks are being garnished for the current support and back childsupport.

You don't have any rights, but they can't take your money.
