Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I live with my girlfriend she has a 15 year old at home . The 20 year old was doimg drugs so we kicked her out. She then went to the police station and told them i was the one doing drugs. Can DHS get involved even though this was clearly out of malice? Oh, also we spoke to the police and told them that we had kicked her out and we didnt feel safe, they said they would put a patrol on. Thos is after she went to them. Is this aomething that could lead to a DHS visit? Juat because she aaid i was doing the drugs?

The answer to that question is yes. The fifteen year old is a minor. Police are mandatory reporters. DHS must investigate but if they find nothing they'll go away.
