Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I have lived with my S.O. for 5 1/2 years in what is his home. I pay 700/ month to him, plus buy some groceries and any extras we need(cleaning, etc). I pay my own personal expenses(medical, etc) and buy my own personal female/hygiene/makeup items. I am wondering if he can at this time kick me out of his house. No contract/agreement made. We were engaged......not sure where I stand with this. He has taken the ring and put it in the safe after the last check of diamonds about 4 months ago and has not offered it back.

What do you want to do? At this point because you are not married and there is no common law marriage in Iowa you are only a tenant at will. He will have to go through the legal process of evicting you.
