Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
I loan my cousin 500 dollars in 2008 and the verbal agreement was to pay me when she recevied her 2008 tax return. I never got it, then she was out of work for a little while with a child i gave her more then enough time to get on her feet. 2010 febuary made another agreement for payment in the the month of feb. of 200 dollars and then two more payments of 200 then 100 shortly after, and have not recevied anything. I took steps by trying to talk to her about it she could of given me a little here little there but never did. Can i sue her?

You can, but between the cost of filing the lawsuit and getting the person served you're going to be out a hundred dollars. If you get a judgment you've still got to collect it and that means more work.
