Married a man three years ago and we were only together the first 5 months after pleading and him refusing to divorce me,would I be stuck with all his bad debt and parents bad debt if he were to die? I haven't seen him in over 2 yrs and only know town of residency for him.he refuses to sign papers and stays hidden under the radar.will I be stuck with all his unpaid bills and parents bills too?

The only way you would be responsible for any debts is if they were acquired after the marriage or on which you were a co signer or co maker mortgage, car loan, joint credit card accounts, things like that. It's best to sever any and all paper work connections and have a copy of your dissolution order handy. Refer any and all collection efforts to your attorney.
