Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
I am currently married but seperated from my wife. We just had a child about 2 months ago. I moved to Missouri temporarily to attend physical therapy appointments because I had no one to help me in Iowa when I was injured as she made me leave our residence. I will be moving back to Iowa in the next month or so to start work again on a limited basis. I want to have visitation with my son but cannot afford to go to court and get a lawyer. My wife is denying me any unsupervised visitation, and will not let me take our son alone. Every time I do not meet her demands, she tells me that I will not be able to see Logan at all, and that he has a new father. What can I do to establish visitation on a regular basis with my son?

You'll simply have to get an attorney, however that happens. It's less money than tossing any relationship you could have with your child down the drain.
You may try the Legal Aid Society or the Drake, Creighton, or University of Iowa law school clinics, or you may contact the Iowa State Bar Association's volunteer lawyers project.
