Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I was married 29 years and my husband got a divoice without me knowing about it is this legal. I live in Iowa and he lives in Ill. Our children are over 18 but he has the wrong birthday an both of them in the court papers

If you were not properly served or notified in accordance with law the divorce can be overturned. This is something you might want to consider if it seems that your husband was trying to avoid alimony, child support, or having to share his pension with you. I suggest you hire an attorney in the county where the divorce happened so as to see exactly what went on.
