married for 29 yrs, found out my husband hadnt been filing our taxes a few years ago, I went back and filed all of mine married filing seperate but he still has not filed, I am divorcing him now, if we put in the divorce decree he keeps that debt and our acerage will that hold up in court against the irs?

I'm not a tax lawyer but I do know that two people cannot between them compromise the rights of a creditor. You may be dragged into this mess whether you like it or not. In this case I do not think you could cut off the rights of the service to back taxes in this way. But I could be wrong. I'd contact a tax attorney and find out what your rights and responsibilities are.
