Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

I've been married 17yrs, now seperated & have an order of protection. My husband got fired from his job cashed in his 401k, has not offered any help with mortgage or bills. Am I entitled to ask for any of his 401k?

If there is a custody and support agreement in place or a motion on temporary matters you may be able to stop him from dissipating his assets. You do need to see your attorney if you have one, but I'll bet the money's all gone.
