Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

medical billing

My husbands ex-wife (custotial parent) takes there children to the doctor and has the doctor bill him. the divorce decree stated that she is responsible for having the insurance and they are both responsible for out of pocket expense. My husband has carried the heath insurance policy for years and paid on some bills but the rest are being turned over to collection angencies in his name. My question is can she legally tell the doctors to automatically bill us and what can we do to stop this, at the moment.

All you can do is go to court and ask the court to enforce the divorce decree as it was written.
