Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

Moving away from city father lives in

My daughter (24) is living in Davenport and is due to have a baby 3/05/09. When she found out she was pregnant her boyfriend (28) wanted her to have an abortion. She could not do this. Since then she has moved into her own apartment. She sees the baby's father at baby appointments and out to eat occasionally. My daughter has decided that after the baby is born to move back to Des Moines where she will have support of family with the baby. The father has said he will take her to court and not allow this move. Can he do this? She is not trying to stop him from having a relationship with the baby. She had hoped the relationship with them would get better but it hasn't. She knows the help she will need with this baby will come from her family. Both parents hav jobs is Davenport. He in I.T. for the county, she a nurse in ICU.

Since the baby has not been born she can do anything she wants to do. I suggest she move back here and that way it is he who will have to litigate at long range.
