Paternity Tests

A friend believes he is the father of newborn. The mother refuses to allow a paternity test or allow him to see the baby. Is there a way he can force her to allow this? This is this woman's third child and she does not have custody of the other two due to drug abuse issues. My friend wants to ensure that if this baby is his, she is well taken care of.

Yes. He can file an affidavit of paternity and also petition the court for custody and visitation orders
