Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My ex has primary physical custody and moved my 10 and 8 yr olds 4 hrs away. The children hate where they live and want to move back to their old school and with me. We were raising them 50/50 without it being on paper. At what age will a judge take into account what the kids want?

There's no age that does what you want. If he has legal custody you have no leverage.
