Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa
I have a question regarding what I should do inorder to get my daughter returned to me when her grandparents are the ones who have taken my daughter. Three months ago my fiance and my kids were going to be moving from Iowa to Arizona and my mother was visiting Iowa at the time and talked me & my fiance in allowing my older daughter to return to Arizona with her so she could get her enrolled in school so she wouldn't miss school and we would be following shortly after. However, in December we learned my fiance could no longer transfer with his work and it was good timeing because my mother returned to Iowa with my daughter for Christmas. When I contacted my mother telling her my daughter needed to come home we were not moving we got into an argument and she took off back to Az with my daughter after I told her not to. I've since been fighting over the phone trying to get my daughter and my father agreed to send her home on the airplane. However, on March 3 after we purchased the tickets and waited for my daughter at the airport I was then contacted by my father saying they wouldn't send her. I'm lost and confused on what I should do to get my daughter back and what legal ways do I need to go threw. Please Help!

If you have legal custody of your child, have you reported this to the police, and if not, why not?
