Reverse Adoption

We adopted husbands niece 7yrs ago. We are now seperated and going to divorce. Niece is miserable and has been for a long time. She wants to go back and live with her mom. Mom is now clean and holds a job and could provide fine for her. We have all struggled to make this work and it hasn't. Is is possible legally place her back into her mom's care? Can we reverse the adoption?

I've never heard of a reverse adoption. If mom is able to take care of the child she can file to adopt the child, but then you'll have to explain to the court what it's all about. Get yourself an attorney.
