Legal Question in Family Law in Iowa

My ex served me papers with petition to establish paternity, custody, and other matters in iowa and my answer has to be efile. but I do NOT think he's the father. When filling out the general answer for do I need to put my statement on custody and other matters, or can I add after I get the test back?

Do you have a time limit in which to respond? How much time do you have left? You can enter a general denial, but what will you do if it turns out he is the father? How long has it been sinceyou gave birth to the child? Whose name is on the birth certificate? Has the child ever known another person as "Dad"?
